We purchased Shannon in the fall of 2009 to be used during selective breeding with our non-carriers.  We believe that the short legs have a historic place in the Dexter breed and would like to preserve that trait by breeding a carrier to only a non carrier thus avoiding “bulldog” calves. We are looking forward to seeing some of Shannon’s first calves in 2011.

Nicodemus was our starter bull, he was a gentle bull that gave us numerous polled animals.

Titan is a well built muscular young bull. He was a year old at the time of this picture when he won his class at the OEF fair.  He will be missed but has found a great new home as a herd bull.
