We usually have steers available for purchase as well.   Dexter steers dress out at approximately 58% or higher with a fine marble.  Dexter beef is very tender and flavorful. The processing weight of an 18 month old steer is approximately 350-400lbs.   That amount fits perfectly into a one family freezer. If interested in purchasing a steer, please send us an email or call to check availability. 

BULLS: We had 7 bulls calves born this year:  2 red horned, 2 black horned, 1 black polled and 2 dun polled.  Weaning will begin in October and we will then start to determine which bulls are herd quality. The ones that we feel are worthy of being a herd bull will be posted here, the others will be offered as steers.

We are currently all out of available cows and heifers this 2010 year.  Please feel free to drop us a call or email if you are still interested in the spring.  Our calving season typically runs from April thru September each year.  We may be selling a few mature cows in the summer of 2011.
